Josh, .NET Developer

Josh is one multi-faceted fellow. He’s a sharp .NET developer and an eCommerce guru, bringing to the table extensive experience in project leadership. Many companies have benefited from his ability to leverage technology solutions that affect the bottom line.

Josh hails from the St. Louis area, where he still resides. He has five children, most of which are grown and flown. Josh reports that all of his children are extremely smart, and we’re definitely inclined to believe it. When not creating rock-solid solutions for FYIN’s client-partners, Josh enjoys making music. He plays the guitar (and other stringed instruments) and has been known to dabble in piano playing. He even once had a recording studio in his home.

In college, Josh studied Psychology and Business Management. Initially (and for a decade or so thereafter), he followed his dad into the world of residential construction. Eventually, he started his own business doing construction contracting. The construction biz taught Josh to be handy (he reports that he can “fix anything”) but didn’t scratch his technology itch. Wanting a career that wasn’t dependent on the housing market, Josh got into eCommerce and never looked back. He learned much of what he knows the old-fashioned way: on-the-job training.

Like most developers, Josh finds satisfaction in building solutions and solving problems. He uses his natural curiosity to keep learning and growing as a developer.

Random fact: While some dads play catch in the yard, Josh taught his kids to program simple games on the family computer.
